Located in Second Valley Eurong, this sweet 3 bedroom cottage is ideally located with only a short walk to the beach.

The Beach Cottage is fully self-contained and tiled throughout for ease of living. Blankets are supplied but you will need to bring your own sheets, pillows and towels (Don't forget the toilet paper!) A washing machine is located in the laundry
The cottage is fully insect screened, with fully insulated ceilings and walls. Ceiling fans are located in the bedrooms. The garden is fully fenced for privacy and safety of the children.
There is no internet provided, however Telstra mobile connects at the Beach Cottage (only Telstra is available on the island). The cottage is powered by solar, therefore phones, camera, laptops and medical equipment can be charged but electrical appliances such as hairdryers, coffee makers and microwaves are NOT permitted

This family friendly 3 bedroom cottage accommodates a maximum of 10 people (6 adults and 4 children), with Queen beds in bedrooms 1 & 2, and a double bed and x2 bunks in bedroom 3. Brand new King Coil mattresses on all beds. There are 2 bathrooms, one inside plus a fully enclosed hot garden shower. A fully self-contained kitchen with gas cooker/oven and a 520L fridge freezer as well as a gas BBQ & wok on a fully screened verandah. A table for 10 is located on the verandah, which is fully insect screened, and a lounge/dining area with chairs/tables is located within the cottage.
Please Note: The Cottage is self-clean. You are required to leave the premises as clean as you find it

3 night minimum stay (when available/no school holidays) from $230-$320 per night depending on season
Low Season: from $1700 per week (Max 6 Adults & 4 Children)
High Season from: $2260 per week except June/July school holidays - from $1930 per week (all prices are subject to 10% GST)
$200 cleaning bond to be added per booking- fully refundable on satisfactory post departure inspection
Please note : Fraser Island is only accessible via 4 wheel drive. Vehicles are available to rent from Rainbow beach.
A Vehicle Access Pass must be obtained prior to going to the island.
Access to the island is via Barge which leaves from either Rainbow Beach (Inskip pt) or Hervey Bay

The Beach Cottage does not have air conditioning or heating. The house is fully insulated and has ceiling fans which keep it warm/cool. Keeping the windows open during the day in winter will warm the house and if you close them before dark the house will stay quite warm. Doonas and blankets are provided. In the summer the sea breeze helps to keep the house cool. The house is powered by solar electricity and therefore heaters/air-conditioning can not be used.
Unfortunately not at this stage. Board games, family conversation and a good book :) Maybe in the future
As the Cottage is on an island it is difficult to obtain cleaning services. Therefore the cottage is self-clean. A $200 cleaning bond is charged per stay and you are required to leave the cottage ready for the next guest. The cottage will be inspected on departure and the bond will be refunded if the house is left as requested. We regularly visit the cottage and clean in it thoroughly.
Events
Access to K'gari (Fraser Island) is via barge which departs from Rainbow Beach (inskip point) or Hervey Bay. Don't forget your Vehicle Access Permit
Explore the Island by 4 wheel drive, or hike along one of the many walking tracks exploring the lakes and sand blows
Enjoy the wonder & beauty of Fraser Island but leave only footprints. Care for all of the wildlife and fauna so we can preserve it's beauty.

These terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions") govern the use of https://Fraserislandcottages.com (the "Site"). This Site is owned and operated by The Beach Cottage, Fraser Island. This Site is a holiday accommodation rental.
By using this Site, you indicate that you have read and understand these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them at all times.
Intellectual Property
All content published and made available on our Site is the property of The Beach Cottage, Fraser Island and the Site's creators. This includes, but is not limited to images, text, logos, documents, downloadable files and anything that contributes to the composition of our Site.
Age Restrictions
The minimum age to use our Site is 18 years old. By using this Site, users agree that they are over 18 years old. We do not assume any legal responsibility for false statements about age.
Acceptable Use
As a user of our Site, you agree to use our Site legally, not to use our Site for illegal purposes, and not to:
- The house is suitable for a maximum of 6 adults and 4 children. The number of guests is restricted to the agreement made at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon with the managers.;
- Beach Cottage managers reserve the right to enter the property to check guest numbers. Guests not included in original booking agreement will be asked to leave the premises.;
- Failure to comply with booking agreement will lead to immediate termination of tenancy with no refund..;
- The house is located in a residential area. No loud parties or nuisance behaviour. Noise curfew is 11pm; or
- Subletting is not permitted.
If we believe you are using our Site illegally or in a manner that violates these Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to limit, suspend or terminate your access to our Site. We also reserve the right to take any legal steps necessary to prevent you from accessing our Site.

Refunds
Refunds for Services
We provide refunds for services sold on our Site as follows:
Due to the location of the Beach Cottage it can be difficult to re-let the property at short notice, therefore cancellation charges will be applied as follows:
If cancellation is more than 60 days prior to arrival date, refund will be full rental amount less 10% administration fee.
If cancellation is 30 - 60 days prior to arrival date, refund will be 50% of full rental amount. If cancellation is less than 30 days prior to arrival, refund will be 75% of full rental amount.
The booking will be re-opened once a cancellation is made. If the property is re-booked for the total period, a full refund will provided less 10% administration fee.
Consumer Protection Law
Where the Australian Consumer Law, Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, or any other consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction applies and cannot be excluded, these Terms and Conditions will not limit your legal rights and remedies under that legislation. These Terms and Conditions will be read subject to the mandatory provisions of that legislation. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Conditions and that legislation, the mandatory provisions of the legislation will apply.

Our Site contains links to third party websites or services that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party website or service linked to on our Site. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Queensland.

The Beach Cottage is powered by a solar electricity / battery system with a back up generator. No car / portable fridges, coffee machines, hair dryers, heaters, microwaves or large
appliances allowed. The use of appliances, other than those provided in the Beach Cottage will overload the system, resulting in a loss of power and lighting.;
There is no rubbish collection service on the island. You are responsible for disposing of all rubbish at the local waste disposal site is located on Eastern Street, behind K'gari resort, Eurong. Any rubbish left at the Beach Cottage on departure will attract a $60 disposal charge.;
Vehicle beach permits are required on K'gari and are available from QPWS website.;
Due to the remoteness of the island and limited trade services, uninterrupted power, water or other services can not be guaranteed. Every effort will is made to ensure you have a comfortable stay. Toilets are run on a septic system, toilet paper only to be flushed down the toilet. No personal hygiene items or nappies to be flushed. Blockage of the septic system due to flushing of inappropriate items will cause inconvenience and incur charges.;
Linen is not provided at the Beach Cottage. You are responsible to provide your own linen, including pillows, top and bottom sheets and towels. Quilts and blankets are provided. Sleeping bags are not permitted.;
The house is self-clean. You are required to clean the Beach Cottage and leave it ready for the next guest on departure. The house manager will inspect the Cottage following departure. Failure to leave the the house clean, as per the Beach Cottage rules will result in forfeiture of
the cleaning/damages bond paid at time of booking.;
Beach Cottage guests are advised to obtain travel insurance for their stay. The Beach Cottage accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to your personal property during your stay. Any damages to the property will lead to forfeiture of the cleaning/damage bond.;
Your booking will be secured upon payment of 50% of invoiced amount. Failure to complete final payment by due date may resort in cancellation of the booking. If full payment of invoiced amount is not received by two weeks prior to arrival date. The booking will be terminated with no refund.; and

Severability
If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be

and the rest of these Terms and Conditions will still be considered valid.
Changes
These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to the way we operate our Site and the way we expect users to behave on our Site. We will notify users by email of changes to these Terms and Conditions or post a notice on our Site.
